Job summary

Balfour Beatty Power Transmission & Distribution is expanding its Commercial team in Scotland and seeking Quantity Surveyors to join the Glasgow/Scotland network. This role supports cost control, procurement, and commercial activities across projects, with opportunities to work on a range of infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
• CSCS Academically/Professionally Qualified Person Card.
• MRICS, MCIOB, MCInstCES, or working towards professional membership.

Responsibilities

• Managing costs and income within your area of responsibility.
• Producing cost reconciliations and commercial reports.
• Measuring, recording and valuing work in line with company procedures.
• Building estimates from first principles.
• Interpreting drawings, specifications and works information.
• Supporting customer and stakeholder management activities.
• Understanding and monitoring project programmes and commercial performance.
