Job summary

Balfour Beatty Power T&D is recruiting Quantity Surveyors for a major 400kV overhead-line project. The role is based around Motherwell with potential bases in Glasgow, Inverness or Elgin, offering hybrid working and flexible travel to site.

Full-time and part-time applications are welcome. The successful candidate will support senior commercial colleagues, taking responsibility for allocated costs and income, with duties including measuring and valuing works and preparing reconciliations and

Qualifications

• Quantity surveyor degree or equivalent experience.
• CSCS card held academically or professionally.
• Membership with professional body or progress towards it.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and valuing works.
• Preparing reconciliations and reports.
• Procurement work: subcontract enquiries, tender docs and relationships with subcontractors.
• Monitor project programmes, commercial performance and supply-chain outcomes.
