Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial and Project Management teams from our Humber office. You will manage contract administration, cost data, and governance while engaging with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure commercial alignment on a range of infrastructure projects.

Ideally you have NEC3/4 experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in relevant discipline or equivalent experience in commercial /contract management.
• Experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Contract Management.
• Working knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC3/4.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quantity Surveying support across projects to ensure robust cost management and commercial governance.
• Administer contracts (NEC3/4 and client contracts) including change control, payments, and final accounts.
• Support procurement and tendering with accurate cost data and commercial input.
• Monitor and report on project financial performance, identify risks and opportunities.
• Engage with project teams, suppliers and clients to maintain commercial alignment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned in cost and contract management.
