Michael Page is recruiting an Interim Procurement Manager for a leading bus franchising programme in the public sector, based in Sheffield. Formación

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end procurement in a public sector environment.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations, governance and value-for-money principles.
• Experience leading complex and high-value procurement exercises from market engagement to award.
• Ability to engage with executive leaders and elected members to provide procurement advice.
• Experience developing procurement processes, procedures and tender documents with compliance focus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end procurement across a diverse portfolio of goods and services.
• Manage market engagement, tender development, evaluation, award and contract implementation.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, programme teams and legal colleagues on strategic projects.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and drive best practice in engagement and performance management.
• Develop procurement pipelines, spend analysis and reporting to identify opportunities and efficiencies.
• Provide expert procurement guidance ensuring adherence to legislation, policies and financial regs.
• Identify process improvements to enhance procurement performance, governance and service delivery.
• Support bus franchising and other transport-related procurement programmes where applicable.
