Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, account management, customer service or operational support.
• Experience managing customer accounts, ideally with local authorities, public sector organisations or large commercial customers.
• Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margins and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop large key accounts with focus on local authority and public sector customers.
• Build long-term relationships with procurement teams, project managers and other stakeholders.
• Manage estimates, quotations, orders and deliveries from enquiry through fulfilment.
• Coordinate with branches, suppliers and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Understand customer requirements, resolve issues, and propose practical solutions.
• Source non-standard and bespoke products and confirm availability and pricing.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales within assigned accounts while maintaining service quality.
