Job summary

GCB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Property Manager for a hybrid role in the Chelmsford area. You will manage maintenance queries from tenants, liaise with landlords, and coordinate contractor works while delivering high levels of service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential lettings or property management.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organised with ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance queries from tenants by telephone and email.
• Liaise with landlords with regular updates on maintenance works.
• Instruct approved contractors and arrange access for quotes, inspections and repairs.
• Coordinate property compliance and safety checks.
• Monitor gas safety certificates, electrical inspections and EPCs.
