Job summary

Babcock International invites applications for a Project Planner at the Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth. The role supports the PMO across capital investment projects, delivering schedules, reporting, and performance information while collaborating with engineers, construction teams, and suppliers.

The successful candidate will be involved in planning, scheduling, and control activities, with emphasis on risk, cost interactions, and stakeholder engagement; a Security Check (SC)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling or project controls principles.
• Experience developing and monitoring project schedules across complex programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to relate cost, risk, estimating and change management to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and scheduling support across a portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate schedules with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and suppliers.
• Prepare schedule reports and performance information for governance.
• Perform critical path analysis and annual spend forecasting.
