Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Project Manager at its Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth to lead major nuclear infrastructure work packages from planning through to delivery, ensuring safety, efficiency and programme alignment.

The role requires delivery experience in engineering or infrastructure, strong planning and cost control, and the ability to work within governance frameworks. Security clearance (SC) is required for this position.

Qualifications

• APM Fundamentals qualification (or equivalent project management foundation qualification).

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of project work packages to agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Managing project plans, budgets, forecasts, risks and performance reporting.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Ensuring compliance with project governance, safety and regulatory requirements.
