Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Director with deep expertise in scheduling and project controls to lead planning delivery and drive best practices across programmes. You will oversee baseline schedules, resources, and financial models, and mentor a high-performing IPC team to improve consistency and efficiency.

You’ll work across interfaces with project leaders and clients, applying tools like Primavera, MS Project, PowerBI, and Excel to deliver results and enable strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree educated with relevant industry experience.
• Experience in planning, scheduling and project controls.
• Proven ability to lead workshops and complex project plans.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure overall team integration.
• Establish partnerships to develop recruitment strategies.
• Lead collaborative planning workshops and ensure buy-in.
• Perform impact analysis and monitor schedule variance.
• Advise on planning methods, tools and best practices.
• Lead scheduling delivery for medium/high complexity projects.
• Manage a team delivering planning/schedule management services.
