Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Controls professional in the UK (Glasgow area) to support cost control, scheduling, and performance reporting across infrastructure projects. The role involves working as a right-hand person to the Project Manager, developing and maintaining integrated schedules, and supporting baseline budgeting and forecasts.

You will use MS Project and Primavera P6 to track progress, analyze variances, and prepare dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading meetings.
• Support PM as a right-hand person.
• Developed integrated project schedules with MS Project/Primavera P6.
• Defined WBS, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths.
• Produced baseline schedules and managed schedule change control.
• Forecasted resource demand and aligned with delivery teams.
• Identified schedule risks and mitigations.
• Generated progress dashboards and executive summaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost control and tracking against budget.
• Maintain cost/schedule baseline budgets and forecasts.
• Review and summarize progress against cost plans.
• Support project reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Collaborate with PMs to ensure alignment of funding and work authorization.
