Job summary

Halfords is seeking an experienced Programme Manager - People Change to drive a complex organisation effectiveness and business transformation portfolio at our Redditch site. This fixed-term contract role collaborates with the Director of People Transformation and Head of People Change to provide governance, structure and delivery discipline for strategic decisions.

• Strong governance, planning and delivery capability.
• Experience supporting strategic HR / transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Able to translate priorities into practical delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated programme plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Establish governance with clear reporting and risk oversight.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams across senior stakeholders.
• Identify and manage programme risks and cross‑dependencies.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable delivery plans.
• Produce governance materials for steering groups and leadership.
• Drive accountability and delivery discipline across the programme.
