Job summary

United Utilities seeks a motivated Project Manager to join the Enterprise Capital Delivery team, overseeing a portfolio of major infrastructure projects from planning through completion.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, manage risks, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold governance and safety standards across the programme. Flexible, hybrid working is offered in support of North West infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience.
• APM qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Ability to think cross-functionally and across organisations.
• Experience delivering programmes to challenging timelines.
• Ability to influence key stakeholders to deliver schemes.
• Organised with focus on results, time, cost and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver investment programmes on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project plans, resource schedules and reporting frameworks.
• Manage risks, changes and statutory approvals and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure governance processes are followed and CDM compliance maintained.
• Promote health and safety culture across projects.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement across internal and external bodies.
