Job summary

United Utilities in the North West is seeking a Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects across the Cumbria region from feasibility through to completion.

Based in Penrith with hybrid working (three days on site or in the office), you will manage multidisciplinary teams, schedules, budgets and stakeholder engagement, including regulators and local authorities, to deliver safe, compliant and high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Recognised Project Management qualification (APM/Prince2)
• Experience delivering complex capital projects in a multi-stakeholder environment
• Strong planning, budgeting and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of capital projects from feasibility to completion.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to meet programme objectives.
• Develop plans, schedules and budgets; provide governance and reporting to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
