Job summary

Howden is recruiting a New Business Account Executive for our High-net-worth Private Clients team. This hybrid role combines office and remote work, with a focus on developing outstanding client relationships and driving new business opportunities across specialist insurance lines.

You will work closely with internal teams to deliver expert advice, maintain high service standards, and grow the client base while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the role or similar.
• DIP CII qualified.
• Client relationship management experience with new business focus.
• Deep technical insurer product knowledge.
• Compliance and regulatory knowledge in insurance.
• Mentoring and team development experience.
• Strong cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and pursue new opportunities.
• Provide accurate advice to ensure clients are adequately insured.
• Collaborate with Account Handlers to complete documentation and uphold service standards.
• Lead by example, mentoring junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with FCA principles, industry regulations, and company policies.
