Job summary

Howden is hiring a New Business Account Executive for its Private Clients team in the High-net-worth insurance sector. The role focuses on developing relationships with new and existing clients, delivering expert advice on specialist areas, and pursuing referral opportunities to hit challenging targets.

Hybrid working allows office/remote flexibility. You will collaborate with Account Handlers, ensure compliant client service, and mentor junior colleagues while aligning with FCA, GDPR and AML

Qualifications

• 5+ years of client relationship management in insurance.
• Proven ability to win new business and grow portfolios.
• Deep knowledge of insurance products and risk analysis.
• Collaborates across internal teams to ensure compliance and documentation.
• Mentoring and junior team development experience.
• Knowledge of FCA, GDPR, and AML standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify opportunities through prospect marketing.
• Provide expert advice on specialist insurance areas.
• Collaborate with Account Handlers to complete documentation.
• Support divisional projects and cross-selling initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and lead by example.
• Protect client interests per Bribery Act and ethics.
