Ofwat’s Water Supply Team seeks a Principal Large Water & Waste Infrastructure Oversight Lead to drive the large scheme gated process and oversee development of large water and wastewater schemes. You will engage with water companies, regulators and government bodies to shape policy and delivery strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Senior-level experience in engineering, science, capital programmes, asset management or business planning within the water sector.
• Academic or professional experience of broader environmental issues related to water.
• Experience in policy development and delivering programmes or processes.
• Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Strong numerical analysis experience with evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent oral and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Aufgaben

• Lead the large scheme gated process and oversee development of large water and wastewater schemes.
• Engage with water companies, programme delivery and technical teams, governments and regulators.
• Develop policy within the gated process and shape its evolution.
• Coordinate Asset Improvement Process and align insights across regulatory processes and WRMP/DWMP planning.
