Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd is recruiting a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design for water and wastewater infrastructure across multiple projects in the South of England.

You will drive technical leadership, oversee feasibility through detailed design, and ensure compliance with CDM, BS7671, IEC/SI, WIMES, and water-company standards while coordinating with process, mechanical, civil, and ICA teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership.
• Experience in electrical design for water/wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for water industry assets across projects.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated MEICA designs.
• Lead design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID workshops and client meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain high-quality design outputs.
