Ofwat, the Water Services Regulation Authority, is seeking a Principal Large Water & Waste Infrastructure Oversight Lead to drive the gated process for large water and wastewater schemes. Based in Birmingham or London with hybrid working, you will engage with water companies, regulators and government to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery that protects customers and the environment.

Formación

• Experience in engineering, science, capital programmes, asset management or business planning at senior level.
• Knowledge of wider environmental issues related to the water industry.
• Experience in policy development and delivery of programmes.
• Strong stakeholder relationships across organisational boundaries.
• Highly numerate with complex technical analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication for policy making.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the large scheme gated process for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Engage with water companies, Government, regulators and stakeholders to drive delivery and policy decisions.
• Develop and evolve policy within the gated process and align with related regulatory workstreams.
• Coordinate the Asset Improvement Process and align with related regulatory processes.
• Work with WRMPs/DWMPs and price review related activities to shape future plans.
