Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support the firm’s strategic initiatives by analyzing historical data and performance to advise on profitable rate structures. You will work closely with Pricing Leadership, Sr Pricing Analysts, and other business units in a hybrid office setting.

You will resolve complex data and reports to develop a story and advise on forward options, requiring strong analytical skills, problem solving, and the ability to communicate pricing insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
• Minimum 3 years of directly related experience in financial analysis, billing, accounting or similar work.
• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills; innovative and strategic thinker.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Development/Pitch team, Pricing team and Service Delivery leadership to develop rate proposals, fee estimates and pricing options in response to client RFPs and ad-hoc requests.
• Work with Billing/Rates, Pricing team and firm attorneys to identify rate renewal opportunities and communicate/submit per deadlines.
• Coordinate with Pricing leadership to contribute to financial models for pricing proposals.
• Assist in developing creative, workable pricing solutions including alternative fee arrangements.
• Perform historical analytics to identify risks and drivers of fee magnitude and build pricing models.
• Ensure billing system setup captures intended pricing arrangements and client notes.
• Compile and communicate progress, wins, risks to Pricing/Firm Leadership.
• Work on special projects supporting the Firm’s strategic initiatives.
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc analyses as required.
