Job summary

DWF is seeking a Pricing Manager to shape commercially robust pricing strategies within our Insurance Services division. You will work with senior leaders, Partners and Business Development teams to support growth, major client opportunities and complex tenders.

Using financial modelling, profitability analysis and market awareness, you will influence pricing decisions that deliver value for clients while sustaining the firm's performance.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial acumen balancing client needs with profitability.
• Pricing, commercial finance, financial analysis or profitability experience.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting bids, tenders, panel appointments or client proposals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear recommendations.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with multi-source data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of pricing proposals and financial models for complex tenders, panel appointments and strategic client opportunities.
• Manage the end-to-end pricing process, ensuring submissions are accurate, commercially robust and delivered on time.
• Analyse profitability, historic performance, workload and operational data to inform pricing recommendations and identify opportunities to improve margins.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, Partners and Business Development teams to develop pricing solutions that balance client requirements with commercial objectives.
• Structure and evaluate a range of fee arrangements, including hourly rates, fixed fees, retainers and volume-based pricing.
• Produce scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and profitability forecasts to support commercial decision-making.
• Act as a trusted pricing advisor, presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and monitoring outcomes to continually improve pricing strategy and performance.
