Job summary

St. James's Place in Cirencester is seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to join the Central PMO team.

You will support governance, assurance activities and delivery standards across a complex portfolio, delivering robust reporting and insightful analytics to enable effective decision-making. Hybrid, permanent Associate role with strong stakeholder management, advanced Excel and Power BI skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven PMO Analyst experience within a project, programme or portfolio environment.
• Strong knowledge of core PMO disciplines including RAIDD management, governance, reporting and planning.
• Experience of conducting assurance reviews, quality checks or governance assessments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence where required.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience producing management reporting and insights.
• Knowledge of using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Leading and conducting project assurance activities to ensure alignment with standards, processes and best practice. Driving effective delivery while identifying opportunities to enhance processes, controls and ways of working
• Supporting the administration, adoption and continuous improvement of key project and portfolio management tools, including providing guidance and training to users.
• Producing accurate and insightful reporting to support effective decision-making, governance and portfolio oversight.
• Acting as a subject matter expert across PMO services, providing support and guidance to colleagues and helping to develop capability within the wider team.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Change, Digital & Delivery to promote consistent governance and delivery standards.
• Understanding the wider strategic objectives of the portfolio and ensuring PMO activities contribute to successful delivery outcomes across the organisation.
