Job summary

DS Associates Recruitment is seeking a Physiotherapist Nurse Functional Assessor in Aylesbury with hybrid office/home arrangements. The role offers £40,000–£42,000 per year plus bonus and benefits, with a 9–5, Monday–Friday schedule.

You will perform PIP/ESA assessments, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to decisions made by the DWP while enjoying strong work-life balance and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
• Fully registered with a UK regulatory body (NMC/HCPC or other) with a valid PIN.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Typing speed minimum 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Undertake file-work, face-to-face and telephone/video assessments for PIP/ESA.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for DWP decision makers.
• Ongoing CPD with training and revalidation support.
