DS Associates Recruitment seeks an Occupational Therapist Functional Assessor in Lewes, operating on a hybrid model with clinic and home-based work. You will conduct PIP/ESA assessments and craft detailed reports to support DWP decision making.

The position offers a starting salary of £45,000–£48,000, plus a bonus scheme, uplift opportunities after 6 and 12 months, generous leave, pension, and clear career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience as a nurse, OT or physio.
• Fully registered with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other) with valid PIN.
• Excellent observational and communication skills; ability to listen and empathise.

Responsabilités

• Undertake file-work, face-to-face and telephone/video assessments for PIP/ESA.
• Provide comprehensive reports to inform DWP decisions on claims.
• Engage in CPD with ongoing development and revalidation support.
