Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor to evaluate how health conditions impact daily activities, combining home work with an assessment centre in a hybrid model.

The role emphasizes clinical judgement, evidence review and detailed written reports, with a structured training program and ongoing support. Initial salary is £39,500 with OTE up to £47,150, plus progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Typing speed 35 WPM and computer literacy
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
• Attend the assessment centre as required
