Job summary

Medacs Healthcare invites applications for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor. This hybrid role blends home working with assessment centres, focusing on clinical reasoning, analysis and detailed report writing. You will assess how health conditions affect daily living, within a supportive framework.

We welcome NMC/HCPC registered nurses or allied professionals with UK experience. Expect structured training, clear progression, and a balanced schedule with no evenings or bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with NMC or HCPC and hold UK clinical registration.
• Experience in a UK health setting is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments with empathy.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend assessment centre as required.
