Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor (Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) for a permanent full-time role in Redcar. The position combines home working with assessment centre time, offering predictable hours and long-term stability.

The salary starts at £42,000 and increases to £46,000 after accreditation and three days per week on-site, with annual reviews and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registration is required.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Active registration with no restrictions.
• Demonstrated capability in clinical assessment and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PIP assessments (face-to-face and telephone) within the defined clinical framework.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to quality standards and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
