Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Redcar, offering hybrid working and a clear career path. This role suits NHS trained professionals like nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists, or occupational therapists looking to move from frontline clinical work into assessment and report writing.

You’ll conduct PIP assessments, analyse medical evidence, and produce detailed, evidence-based reports within established clinical frameworks.

Competenze

• Registered nurse (NMC) or HCPC registered professional.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems with 35 WPM typing speed.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Mansioni

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend assessment centres as required.
