Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Redcar. This hybrid role lets you continue clinical work while enjoying flexible home-based assessments and time at our centres.

You will join a supportive team, perform PIP assessments, analyze evidence, and write detailed reports to required standards. The role offers structured hours and a clear progression path with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence‑based written reports
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
• Attend the assessment centre as required
