Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Redcar. This non-hands-on clinical role focuses on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing, with hybrid working combining home and assessment centre time.

You'll join an experienced team, with structured training, career development and a clear progression path. The salary is £39,500–£41,000 per annum, with OTE up to £47,150.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Paramedic or AHP with UK registration
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with digital systems and typing (35 WPM)

Responsibilities

• Conduct PIP assessments in person and via telephone
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
• Attend assessment centres as required
