Job summary

Allan Webb Ltd, based in Stonehouse/Gloucester with hybrid working, is seeking a People Advisor to join our HR team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role focuses on providing HR guidance across the business, handling employee relations and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.

You will support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, work with the People Partner and Head of People on HR initiatives, and line-manage the People Administrator.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years’ HR experience.
• Experience managing employee relations cases, grievances and disciplinary procedures.
• Understanding of UK Employment legislation.
• Competency using and managing HR systems.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and support across the organisation.
• Manage employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support improvements to HR practices and processes in line with the wider People Strategy.
• Line manage the People Administrator.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees.
