Job summary

Isio, a fast-growing pensions advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Calculations & Benefits team. Based in a hybrid office (Reading, Birmingham, Manchester, Croydon or Bristol), you will lead technical pensions workstreams including the Pensions Dashboard and GMPe, developing bespoke calculation solutions and maintaining benefit specifications.

You will work closely with Admin Systems, Admin BAU teams, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate data, robust testing, and timely

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of UK DB pension schemes and benefits.
• Ability to translate rules into technical specs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and complex calculation development.
• Experience with scheme onboarding and technical implementation.
• Robust testing, QA, and defect-management practices.
• Attention to risk, governance and audit requirements.
• Effective stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritise Pensions Dashboard activity across schemes.
• Update benefit specs with scheme changes and GMP equalisation.
• Develop and maintain bespoke calculations and Excel solutions.
• Translate complex rules into precise technical requirements.
• Oversee testing, QA, risks, controls, and documentation.
• Support onboarding of new administration clients to the Dashboard.
• Coordinate stakeholders and improve delivery processes.
