Job summary

Isio is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Calculations & Benefits team, within Client Onboarding & Change. The role focuses on technical pensions workstreams including the Pensions Dashboard, GMPe, onboarding, and bespoke calculation solutions.

You will work hybrid across Reading, Birmingham, Manchester, Croydon or Bristol offices, with strong collaboration across admin, systems and client teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of UK DB pension schemes, including benefit structures and calculation methodologies.
• Experience interpreting scheme rules and producing clear, accurate technical benefit specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex data and calculation issues.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritise technical Pensions Dashboard activity across multiple schemes.
• Ensure scheme changes, data rectification and GMP equalisation updates reflected in benefit specifications ahead of annual values refreshes.
• Develop and maintain bespoke technical calculations and controlled Excel solutions.
• Interpret scheme rules and translate complex benefits into accurate technical requirements.
• Oversee testing, quality assurance, risks, controls and technical documentation.
• Support onboarding and connection of new administration clients to the Pensions Dashboard.
• Coordinate stakeholders, provide technical guidance and improve delivery processes.
