Job summary

EPX Limited is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to ensure uptime of monitoring devices in the field, manage fault diagnostics for a key account, and support other accounts as needed. This role focuses on reliability, KPI reporting, and coordinating with field teams.

You will handle ticket updates, coordinate service visits, maintain energy-management documentation, and provide technical guidance. A strong electrical background, relevant certificates, and excellent communication are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent trade certification.
• ECS Gold Card valid and current.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382).
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services.
• 1–3 years in a service role with ISO9001 knowledge.
• Strong MS Product Suite and networking knowledge.
• Experience with submetering, BMS and IoT.

Responsibilities

• Update ticketing systems with accurate information for KPI reporting.
• Coordinate service visits with the Operations Manager to ensure timely delivery.
• Foresee potential risks related to contracts and service delivery and inform management.
• Ensure services align with OH&S obligations, SLAs, and schedules.
• Liaise between departments to resolve issues and meet quality targets.
• Administer day-to-day energy management systems.
• Provide technical support to field teams and external contractors.
• Prepare and maintain product manuals, commissioning reports, and technical specifications.
