Job summary
Vantage Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a global building performance optimisation company for an Operations Support Engineer in London. The role covers uptime, metering, monitoring and building controls across a portfolio of commercial properties with a hybrid on-site/off-site pattern.
You will perform fault diagnostics, coordinate maintenance and support field engineers, gaining exposure to energy management systems and new projects while developing into a broader Operations role.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualification required.
- Practical electrical installation experience in live environments.
- Maintenance or service engineering background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain monitoring, metering and building control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across Modbus connections, BMS integrations and metering systems.
- Provide client-facing technical support across a major Central London portfolio.
- Coordinate service visits, maintenance and remedial works.
- Support field engineers and external contractors.
- Maintain ticketing systems and technical documentation.
- Assist with energy management system administration.
