Job summary

ESG, a Chorley-based software & services company, seeks an Operations Business Analyst for the Retail Energy stream. You will support operational delivery, work with product and program teams, and contribute to the market-wide Half Hourly program across ESG’s regulated energy operations.

You will interface with customers and internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery, identify enhancements, and drive value through data analysis and tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years Utilities/Energy experience essential.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to analyse, problem-solve and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational delivery and results across Retail Energy and ESG portfolio.
• Interface with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and service levels.
• Develop and deploy data analysis tools to support issue resolution and delivery.
• Support contract renewals with clear visibility of activities and value.
• Balance priorities and manage performance with line manager through regular reviews.
