Confidential is seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler in Newcastle under Lyme on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage a diverse portfolio of motor claims, including first-party, third-party and property damage, with a hybrid working model and a salary of £26,000–£27,000 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor insurance claims handling and liability.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and deliver good customer service.
• Solid understanding of fraud, recoveries and claims leakage.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with good IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of motor claims including first-party, third-party and property damage.
• Investigate liability, resolve disputes, and settle claims effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and policyholders.
• Identify fraud indicators and opportunities for recoveries.
• Handle complaints professionally in line with guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to progress claims.
• Ensure timely progression and accurate documentation of all claims.
• Complete mandatory compliance and training modules.
• Potential involvement in credit hire and personal injury claims.
