Motor Claims Handler in Newcastle under Lyme is a permanent hybrid role offering £26,000–£27,000 per year plus excellent benefits. You will manage a varied portfolio of motor claims, including first- and third-party cases, with autonomy and support from a specialist claims team.

You’ll liaise with customers, insurers and accident management partners, progress claims efficiently, identify fraud indicators, and pursue recoveries while developing your knowledge through training and industry

Qualifications

• Experience in motor insurance claims handling and liability.
• Strong customer service and complaint-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of fraud indicators, recoveries and claims leakage.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of motor claims including first- and third-party cases.
• Investigate liability, resolve disputes and settle claims effectively.
• Provide excellent service to clients and policyholders.
• Identify fraud indicators and pursue recoveries where appropriate.
• Handle complaints professionally and in line with guidelines.
• Collaborate with customers, insurers and partners to progress claims.
• Ensure timely progression and complete mandatory training.
