Job summary

Coventry Building Society in Coventry (Binley Business Park) is looking for a Telephone Mortgage Co-ordinator. You will handle calls from new and existing customers, guiding them through mortgage questions with a responsive, non-sales focus.

The role requires accuracy in data input, strong problem solving, and a commitment to up-to-date policy knowledge. Training begins December 7, with a later hybrid work option from home and two days in the Binley office.

Qualifications

• Current experience interacting directly with customers and providing great service on a daily basis.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to talk to lots of different people.
• Experience of talking about products and services and dealing with a wide range of customer queries.
• Experience of problem solving, handling challenging and / or complex customers’ enquiries in a careful and sensitive way.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from a diverse range of customers and support them with mortgage questions.
• Input information accurately and efficiently to resolve enquiries.
• Handle sensitive situations, including complaints or vulnerable customers, with care.
