Job summary

Rightmove in London is seeking a hands-on Modern Workplace Engineer to optimize how we work across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and device management, with ownership of Amazon Connect and Atlassian tools.

You will support security, governance, and employee experience, working in a small IT team with two days in the office and occasional travel to Milton Keynes. The role blends platform governance, automation, and continuous improvement for a seamless collaboration experience.

Qualifications

Hands-on administration of Google Workspace, Amazon Connect, Jira/Confluence, and Microsoft 365.
Experience managing Entra ID, MFA, and conditional access in a large org.
Proven ability to automate provisioning, onboarding and access management.
Experience with device management across Intune and JAMF.
Security-conscious with governance, identity, and DEX tooling exposure.
Excellent communication and ability to work across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

Google Workspace administration and governance across users, security, and collaboration services.
Own Amazon Connect platform, optimize contact flows, routing and permissions.
Shape Jira/Confluence workflows, permissions, automation and governance.
Manage Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Viva).
Design and maintain device management using Intune and JAMF.
Monitor and improve digital employee experience with DEX tooling.
Automate provisioning and onboarding with PowerShell/Power Automate.
Collaborate with Security to embed identity protection and policies.
Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across the team.
