Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a senior engineer to drive engineering delivery across feasibility, FEED and execution for large industrial projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety and design quality, and align outputs with cost and schedule.

The role leverages digital engineering and BIM, with responsibility for design reviews, interfaces, and governance across locations. Hybrid work from Leeds supported.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering large-scale industrial/mining/process projects across feasibility, FEED and execution.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams in EPCM or integrated owner/contractor environments.
• Strong background in engineering management, design coordination and project setup.
• Experience in safety-in-design, technical assurance and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with digital engineering and BIM environments (E3D, Navisworks, data platforms).
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance cost, schedule and quality.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive engineering delivery across feasibility, FEED and execution phases.
• Lead multidisciplinary design reviews and manage design criteria and change control.
• Track performance using earned value, issue management and deliverable tracking.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement and construction.
• Coach and develop capability within the team and drive a delivery culture.
