Yorkshire Water is seeking a Learning Design Specialist to craft high-quality, engaging learning content and digital assets that improve performance across the business. Reporting to the Learning Design Manager, you will transform briefs into practical, on-brand materials and collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

The role supports a learning-focused culture within the People Team, offering hybrid working in Leeds and opportunities for professional progression

Qualifications

• Previous experience of designing or developing learning content, resources or training materials.
• Understanding of learning design principles, adult learning, learner experience and how people apply learning in the workplace.
• Confidence using digital learning tools, authoring platforms, Microsoft 365 applications or other technologies to create engaging learning content.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, practical and accessible learning materials.
• Strong written communication, content creation and storytelling skills.
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to apply brand, accessibility, quality and governance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs, learning colleagues and stakeholders to develop effective learning solutions.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies and approaches to learning design.
