Job summary

Capital One (Europe) plc is recruiting for a Junior Finance Cost Business Partner in Nottingham. The role is hybrid with three in-office days (Tue–Thu) and two remote days, on a fixed term contract.

You will help shape monthly UK cost reporting, budgeting and outlooks with support from a knowledgeable FP&A team. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, drive financially sound decisions, and develop in-house expertise in reporting systems while pursuing an accounting qualification and

Qualifications

• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders is a plus.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage tight month-end deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and present monthly financial data and outlook.
• Build strong relationships with Tech and Finance teams.
• Prepare monthly outlook and annual budgets; highlight risks and opportunities.
• Support month-end activities, including journals and variances.
• Drive process improvements and automation in reporting workflows.
