Job summary

Capital One in Nottingham is seeking a Junior Finance Cost Business Partner to support month-end activities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and help drive financial decision-making across Shared Service areas.

You will develop reporting in OneStream and Google Sheets, partner with senior FP&A managers on high-impact projects, and pursue process improvements with automation. A proactive team player with strong analytical skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to build repeatable month-end processes.
• Experience using financial systems and spreadsheets to support reporting.
• Willingness to develop coding skills with AI assistance in FP&A work.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize financial and non-financial data for monthly outlooks and budgets.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to inform business decisions.
• Produce monthly outlooks, annual budgets, and variance analyses with clear commentary.
• Streamline processes and identify efficiency gains, including automation where possible.
• Collaborate with senior FP&A managers on cross-departmental projects.
