Job summary

National Grid in Warwick is seeking a Junior Digital Product Manager to shape the digital products powering The Great Grid Upgrade. The role is hybrid, based in Warwick with occasional UK travel, and you will support strategy, evolution and delivery of secure, scalable digital platforms enabling the energy transition.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, engineering and security to translate business challenges into clear roadmaps, discovery work and business cases, while championing

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience contributing to digital product, platform, project or service delivery.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and associated enterprise platforms.
• Evidence of working across business and technical stakeholders to shape requirements, priorities or roadmaps.
• Experience developing business cases, investment proposals, options appraisals or benefits-led recommendations is desirable.
• A recognised qualification in Scrum, SAFe or similar agile methodology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap, connecting user needs to outcomes.
• Lead discovery, scoping, requirements and prioritisation through delivery.
• Develop investment papers with problem, options, benefits, costs and risks.
• Support governance processes and funding decisions.
• Coordinate delivery across Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
• Build collaborative relationships and challenge assumptions constructively.
• Research market trends and emerging technologies for product decisions.
• Champion secure-by-design and information protection.
• Translate technical choices into clear business language and practical outcomes.
