Job summary

Barbour is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the IT team at our Head Office in South Shields. You will analyse and design business systems, liaise with developers and vendors, and drive improvements to support Barbour’s strategic aims.

The role offers hybrid working with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/BIS, strong SDLC knowledge (Agile/ITIL), and experience with ERP/finance/HR systems, APIs, and databases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/BIS.
BCS/ITIL/Agile certifications desirable.
Experience analysing business systems and delivering IT solutions.

Responsibilities

Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors on design, configuration, and testing.
Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and impact assessments with thorough documentation.
Provide 2nd/3rd line support, lead UAT and post-implementation support.
Ensure solutions align with standards and regulatory policies.
