Barbour is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the IT team at our Head Office in South Shields. You will analyse and design business systems, liaise with developers and vendors, and drive improvements to support Barbour’s strategic aims.
The role offers hybrid working with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/BIS, strong SDLC knowledge (Agile/ITIL), and experience with ERP/finance/HR systems, APIs, and databases.
We are currently recruiting for a Systems Analyst to join our IT team based at our Head Office in South Shields. As an IT Systems Analyst at Barbour, you will work with a good degree of independence to deliver high-quality IT solutions that meet business needs and support strategic goals. Reporting to the IT Manager – Business Systems, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and improving business systems to support Barbour’s operational and strategic objectives. Serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure system solutions are aligned with business needs, scalable, secure and fit for purpose.

Each year over 70,000 wax garments are sent back to Barbour globally to be repaired, rewaxed or altered.
