Job summary

ACT Entertainment in Margate, UK is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a distributed IT environment, handling Help Desk escalations, Azure administration, and M365 management, with endpoint deployment and network troubleshooting in a hybrid setting.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on IT experience, strong 365/Azure skills, and the ability to work across multiple sites. Office-based up to 3 days per week, with a focus on reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on IT administration or infrastructure support experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
• Experience with Azure identity, licensing and endpoint management.
• Networking troubleshooting across LAN/WAN, VPN.
• Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune or equivalent).
• Scripting basics (PowerShell) for automation.
• Experience with ITSM platforms (FreshServices, ServiceNow).
• Experience in a multi-site environment and working across multiple legal entities.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve Help Desk escalations across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure environments: user provisioning, licensing, security policies, Intune/endpoint management.
• Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure – switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, VPN – for a facility-based operation.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices across the organization.
• Document processes and systems, building institutional knowledge.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy workflows and propose practical improvements.
• Partner with vendors to resolve issues and negotiate improvements.
• Support onboarding/offboarding, asset tracking, and general IT hygiene.
• Contribute to IT projects: tenant migrations, security hardening, tooling evaluations.
• Cross-train colleagues and help shape IT policy and SOPs.
