Job summary

Adecco Public Sector's client in Stoke is hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer/IT Operations Engineer to join a 3rd line support team. You will resolve escalated BAU tickets and help drive infrastructure projects using modern technologies, with hybrid work options from home to the office.

The role offers a salary between £38k-£45k depending on experience, on-call uplifts, generous holidays, a leading pension, healthcare, parental leave, salary sacrifice schemes and robust training opportunities.

Qualifications

3rd Line IT Infrastructure support responsibilities including BAU operations and escalations.
Experience with Office 365 management and troubleshooting.
Experience with Microsoft Exchange server management.
Knowledge of data centres and storage solutions.

Responsibilities

Resolve escalated 3rd line BAU tickets passed from 1st/2nd line.
Support design, installation & configuration of servers, storage, network security and cloud tech.
Ensure security, availability and backup/retrieval of data per IT policy.
Assist with infrastructure upgrade projects and new technologies.
