Job summary

Ashdown Group in London is seeking an IT Consultant/Lead Engineer to provide 1st–3rd line IT support on client sites, with a hybrid work pattern (3+ days on site, 2 days at home). You will lead incidents, plan schedules, and drive technical solutions for diverse clients.

The role requires strong macOS and Apple device administration, Office 365 (Exchange/SharePoint/Teams), Windows/AD/Intune, and solid networking knowledge. Opportunities for progression and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT projects and end-to-end delivery.
• Strong macOS and Apple device administration and deployment.
• Experience with Apple MDM/RMM: Addigy and Jamf.
• Proficient in Office 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
• Windows 10+; Intune, Entra, and Active Directory.
• Basic networking knowledge and SME network setup/maintenance.
• Experience with cloud storage (Dropbox, Box) and cloud/on-premise backup.
• Experience managing IT policies and procurement.
• Ability to act as Lead Engineer on client accounts and project manage.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st to 3rd line IT support on client sites, with on-site 3+ days and home 2 days.
• Lead projects and deliver end-to-end IT solutions for clients.
• Act as Lead Engineer on client accounts and coordinate incidents.
• Plan schedules around client needs and capabilities, liaising with IT team.
• Assist with procurement and policy creation for clients.
