Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Infrastructure Engineer in Manchester to join a growing managed services team. The role covers monitoring, incident management, backup validation, patching support, and admin across Azure and on-premises environments.

You will work in a hybrid setup, handling on-call duties, contributing to runbooks, and improving documentation while developing cloud and virtualization expertise in a modern enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Infrastructure experience in a managed services environment.
• Solid Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure to Azure and VMware environments with ITIL-based processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage infrastructure alerts across cloud and on‑premise environments
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents
• Manage ticket lifecycles through ITSM processes and SLA targets
• Perform daily backup validation and support remediation activities
• Support monthly patching activities across Windows, Linux, Azure, and VMware estates
• Assist with Azure and VMware VM administration and troubleshooting
• Contribute to runbooks and knowledge sharing
• Participate in a shared on‑call rota for first-response support
